About Haqdaar
حقدار means the one who is entitled to a right. Haqdaar helps people in Pakistan understand what the law says about their situation.
How it works
When you ask a question, Haqdaar uses Google's Gemini AI to search the web for current Pakistani statutes, rules, court judgments and official guidance, then writes an answer that names the law and section it relies on. Numbered citations link each statement to the page it came from, so you can check it yourself.
Deep research mode uses a stronger model and runs more searches. It is slower but more thorough.
Disclaimer: information, not legal advice
Haqdaar provides general legal information. It is not a lawyer, does not create a lawyer–client relationship, and its answers are not legal advice.
AI can misread sources or miss recent changes, and the law differs between federal, provincial and local levels. Always verify important matters against the official text of the law and with a qualified advocate, especially if a deadline, arrest, eviction, family dispute or large sum of money is involved.
If you need free legal help, contact your District Legal Empowerment Committee, the legal aid committee of your provincial Bar Council, or relevant helplines (for example police 15, or the FIA cybercrime complaint portal for online crimes).
Privacy
Your chat history is stored only in your browser on this device. Haqdaar has no accounts and does not keep your conversations on its servers. Clearing your browser data, or deleting a chat from the sidebar, removes it.
To answer, your question and the earlier messages in that chat are sent to Google's Gemini API (Vertex AI) for processing, under Google's terms. Avoid sharing CNIC numbers, phone numbers, bank details or other sensitive personal information in your questions.
Basic technical data such as your IP address is used briefly in memory to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and is not stored.
